I have also attended FIA Sports Grand Program ,Train the Trainer programme, thanks to Akbar Sir. Today I am the all karting tracks manager cum chief Marshal In Meco Motorsports.”

Some Questions:

How is your relationship with the kids at the track?

Kids are always fun to be with especially the racing kids more, because they are more smart. I have seen so many drivers since past who started as kids are today grown up and racing in various formats. It’s happy to see them successful and surprising how fast time flies away.

What is the best part of your job?

Safety aspects in a track are very key things to keep note of. Improving the safety aspects is always a intresting thing to do as we take many inspiration from other international tracks, analyse it and try to implement on our track.

Marshalling is all about communication and spontaneous reactions. I am perfecting it till date. You are responsible for the safety of drivers and other Marshal’s too.

How is your relationship with the other Marshals at the track?

The harmony and perfect coordination can only be created with other Marshal’s through a good friendship and understanding. One marshal may know the language and other may not so it is always better to keep communication with them so it is easy for us to work together

What made you interested in this job?

There is a lot to learn from this job. Communication, coordination, development of yourself and most importantly responsibility. If you know that you are responsible for the drivers, automatically off the track you try to be responsible and correct.

Any message you would like to give to others during this tough time?

It is very tough times for everyone especially racing kids as they are extremely active. Lets all work together and get out of this pandemic together to get back on track.
